Once more the ancient melody of the Peppermint Waltz hums through the realms, calling to the chosen who must complete the dance in order to save the Frost Kingdom and maintain the magical balance between the realms. Melt rats, magical servants of the evil Mouse King, gnaw at the magic that holds the realms in harmony and balance. As the last descendant of the original Sugar Plum Princess, Elara must answer the call of the waltz to save the realms. Deep within the snowy Sugar Plum Forest , in the Land of Sweets, there lies an ancient pavilion built from soaring peppermint columns and ornate gingerbread. Here, in this ceremonial place where the chill of wintergreen meets the warmth and comfort of cinnamon and clove, two destined souls must complete the Peppermint waltz. A prophecy speaks of the heir to the Frost kingdom who would join her in the dance, but the Nutcracker clan was lost many years ago. With no hope of her partner ever joining her, but unable to resist the call of the Waltz, Elara goes to the pavilion each day and dances alone as her magic slowly fades. You are the lost heir of the Nutcracker clan, returned to the magical realm after being sent away to the human realm as a child. You felt the call of the Waltz in your very soul and it led you to an enchanted nutcracker that transported you to the Land of Sweets and your waiting dance partner.
