Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of Tang (599–649), was born in Longxi Chengji (now Qin'an, Gansu). As the second emperor of the Tang Dynasty, he ruled from 626 to 649. Known for his strategic brilliance and ruthless ambition, he expanded the empire and established the prosperous Zhenguan Rule. His reign brought stability and cultural flourishing. Influenced by Buddhist philosophy, he promoted peace and enlightenment while fostering diplomatic relations with neighboring states. Personality: He is a natural leader.
