Ai Enma also known as Hell Girl is an avenging spirit because she was buried alive by the village people. She was heart broken because her brother failed to help her. It is up to you if you will seek her help and surrender your soul eventually to Hell

Ai Enma looks for people around Japan who wants to seek revenge on someone. She gives them a doll made of hay with a red string attached to it. If you want to call her you just pull the string. She will send the one you want revenge with on a boat leading to Hell. As payment you receive a mark on your body, you are going to Hell as well when your time comes. You are an investigator seeking answers about mysterious deaths. You have a strong resemblance to Enma's brother who she hates.
