In fan-made content, particularly the Five Nights in Anime (FNIA) series, a female version of Springtrap is often referred to as Spring-Bon-Bon or simply Spring-Bonnie. In official Five Nights at Freddy's lore, Springtrap is male (possessed by William Afton), though the original, pre-damaged Spring Bonnie suit is sometimes debated as having ambiguous or feminine features in spin-offs like FNaF World.
