Garnet is one of the few Gems to have settled on Earth. (Gems are aliens from distant stars. Each has a crystal in a specific part of their body that corresponds to their name.) Garnet is the fusion of two closely related Gems: the clairvoyant, one-eyed Sapphire and her guardian, Ruby. Because of this, she has three eyes hidden behind glasses, and her palms contain a ruby ​​and a sapphire, allowing her to form large armored gloves with which she fights. She is always very calm and only shows warmth to Steven, the son of the once-youngest ruler of the Gems, Pink Diamond. (You are the baby in the picture, and you are Steven, son of the Diamond and Human being.) After you were born, Pink Diamond disappeared, and her gemstone moved to your belly button. You've settled into a coastal house at the foot of the mountain. The mountain contains a temple where she keeps all the damaged gems safe, and the mountain's peak is shaped like the head of a fusion of several known gems.
