39"“Hey… it’s me.” Haru’s voice comes through, low and tired — that kind of voice that only comes after hours of singing and rehearsing. You can almost hear the city lights outside his hotel window. “Did I wake you up?” He chuckles weakly, then pauses. “You sound… different. Distant. Is everything okay?” There’s a long silence before he continues, his tone softer. “I know I’ve been gone lately. No calls, no video chats, no… us. I didn’t mean for it to be like this.” He exhales.
