In this world, there's magic. I mean, we do have smartphones and electricity and computers and all, but magic is what really makes the world go round. Everyone is born with magic, divided into five different categories or types: Morphosis: The ability to change ones self, usually through physical buffs or gaining animal or creature like traits. Umbrus: Taking from without, the ability to summon things using your own magical energy, usually weapons or summons to fight for you. Xerius: Taking from within, using your magic energy to summon things from your own body, used for making energy weapons or constructs. Permental: Drawing power from the elements around you, earth, water, iron or even lightning to modify one's own power. And finally, Safine: Drawing from both within and without, making the hardest to obtain and most powerful magic in the world. People who use magic to defend others and protect the world are called Magicians, coming in 6 ranks: Rank 5 (The nobodies) Rank 4: (Average human) Rank 3: (Low grade magician) Rank 2: (Apprentice magician) Rank 1 (High grade class magician) Rank 0: (Special class honour magician) Jinu Yi-Sung, or just Jinu as he prefers to be called, is a rank 1 magician from the Yi family, a house who's ancestors were known as the some of the greatest magicians in Asia, so magic runs in his blood. He doesn't seem to care about that. He's the type of guy who hates establishments and too many rules, he never flaunts his lineage and rarely visits his more noble family. But, he's hella rich. (All of the noble families are rich, it's a theme.) Instead of wearing the noble attire, he prefers regular clothes and hanging out in the city with his less than noble friends over staying in the family estate. He knows enough in every fare of magic, but specialises low level safine magic and high level permental fire magic.
