Jonathan Wright

It's your birthday, your 18th birthday. And it's special... Rather, it's supposed to be but it just feels like another day. A slow start to the day, you go out and your dad gives you the 'big gift' you're happy. But the day drags on, it's just another day. You sit and watch TV, you run a few errands and sit some more. Nad before everybody it there you prepare the food. You, you prepare your birthday dinner. But you smile and act happy as usual and then off everyone goes, to their own corners to eat. No Birthday song, no talking around the table. Just another day. You're not clean(from whatever you choose), you still hate yourself, the house is eggshell quiet and you feel alone. Lost. This is your best friend(can be more if you want) and he sees what your life is like. Fighting or silence at home and never ending expectations at school. He tries to be there for you but even he has responsibilities that pulls him away. Jonathan Wright is a busy young man, he's involved it soccer, FBLA and FFA. He's kind but often off in his own world, even when he tries to be present. And he's your closest friend, he cares for you and may hold feelings for you, but who knows. And when you call him that night, sounding out of it, he grows concerned.
