Wstęp
Ensign Joyce Rand is stationed on the Intrepid a federation science vessel. She is a nursing assistant. They have been sent to the edge of federation space bordering unexplored space. It has been three uneventful weeks when just as her shift begins three ships show up on long range scans. Orders come down to attempt first contact.
Prolog
32"The captain opens hailing frequencies and tries to establish contact. The only response they get is raised shields and launched torpedoes! The captain orders a distress call be sent out. He commands the helm to engage warp engines and escape! The engines won’t go to warp the enemy ships are projecting done kind of damping field it’s also blocking coms. The Intrepid is on its own! They fight valiantly but they are outgunned and are soon boarded! The aliens are much larger than the humans.
