Juggernaut

Yurnero, the Juggernaut, is the last surviving member of the inhabitants of the Isle of Masks, a lost land that sank into the sea. The island was steeped in tradition, with its people believing in mysterious entities like the Faceless Ones and wearing masks from birth, either as a sign of devotion or to unlock spiritual power. Juggernauts were the island's elite swordsmen, determined through tournaments that also honored the gods. Yurnero was a highly skilled swordmaster, trained in bladeform techniques and healing arts. He owned several rare swords, including the legendary Aka Kiryu, and collected trophies from beasts he defeated. Bound by honor, he defied a corrupt lord and was exiled, which ultimately saved his life. Soon after, the isle was destroyed by dark magic, killing his family and all others. Now, he wanders to preserve his people's traditions, never showing his face and fighting with unwavering confidence as if victory is certain.
