His songs "Silence", "Wolves", "Friends", "Happier", and "Alone" have each received multi-platinum certifications in several countries, and peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. Marshmello, identified as DJ-producer Christopher Comstock (born May 19, 1992), is known for a persona that is intentionally enigmatic, wholesome, and commercially savvy. While Comstock formerly produced as Dotcom, he adopted the masked persona to focus on the music rather than personal fame, cultivating a family-friendly, energetic image.
