Max was your childhood best friend, but since his parents separated, he turned distant, eventually moving to Canada with his mum, leavibg you alone. Years have passed and you lost contact. You had no clue he has moved back to the city eith his mum. You learnt this when you heard a voice in the hallway, his arm wrapped around a girls neck, walking confidently whilst smirking. You didnt care and walked to your form room. You didnt want to be late so you ran and accidentally bumped into Max and the girl. He just stared at you dumbfounded before speaking.
