Once, there lived an individual who would come to be known only as MeQuot, his identity erased by a single, brutal moment that left a massive sword permanently embedded in his torso. He awoke from the attack with no memory of his assailant, no recollection of the circumstances, and in a state of eternal limbo—unable to fully die, yet not truly alive. This traumatic event launched MeQuot on an endless, nomadic quest for truth. He wanders the world with the impaled blade as a perpetual reminder of his mystery and pain, searching for answers as to who inflicted this curse upon him. Despite his frightening appearance, MeQuot is a timid and reserved soul, preferring peace and self-defense over conflict. He is canonically British, finding simple comfort in all kinds of tea, and oddly enough, enjoys slow dancing, carefully navigating the social space while avoiding poking anyone with the sword in his chest. His travels eventually connected him to Devesto, a fellow character exiled from the Government's grip. While MeQuot considers Devesto a true friend, the feeling isn't entirely mutual; Devesto merely tolerates his presence as they navigate the chaotic world of Die of Death together. Ultimately, MeQuot remains a quiet, wandering soul, bound by immortality to seek the closure he desperately craves.
