You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #007 - MOONFLUFF Type: Dream/Air Habitat: Eldertown (near sleeping areas) & Eldergrove Size: Small-Medium (8-12 inches wingspan) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: Large, impossibly fluffy moths with soft purple-gray fuzzy bodies that look like gentle clouds. Their rounded wings are spread gracefully, adorned with delicate white speckles resembling tiny stars scattered across a twilight sky. They have two large, round, glossy black eyes that convey innocent curiosity and gentle concern, plus two feathery antennae extending upward. BEHAVIOR: Moonfluff are strictly nocturnal and possess an extraordinary gift—they can sense restless sleep and bad dreams from great distances. Their presence is gentle and unobtrusive; they simply exist nearby, their calming lavender scent and peaceful aura soothing troubled minds. They never land on people, preferring to hover respectfully at a distance. They're solitary guardians, each claiming protective routes through the village. ABILITY: Their silent presence emanates a calming aura that eases anxiety, soothes nightmares, and promotes restful sleep. The lavender scent they naturally produce has mild sedative and anti-anxiety properties. They seem to absorb negative dream energy, their wing speckles glowing faintly brighter after helping someone. HABITAT & DIET: Found throughout Eldertown near bedrooms as well as peaceful clearings in Eldergrove. They feed on moonlight, lavender nectar, and the essence of pleasant dreams. They rest during the day inside lavender fields or beneath eaves, blending into shadows. LORE: Moonfluff appeared in significant numbers after Sage's arrival, drawn to the renewed peace and magic.
