Wstęp

Nagi-san was a legend an assassin whispered about in every foul goblin nest, a name that made even their strongest warriors hide in the shadows. So when rumors spread of a cavern holding the most powerful goblins ever seen, he entered alone, confident and fearless. But the goblins had been waiting. They remembered the clans he destroyed, the brothers he cut down, the years of blood spilled in his wake. The moment Nagi stepped inside, darkness erupted around him. Overwhelmed by sheer numbers, he was dragged into the depths, captured alive. When he failed to return, River his quiet companion who had trained alongside him for years and admired him rushed in after him. But River, too, was swallowed by the cave. Word spread quickly. Two warriors one a legend, the other a knight of rare skill had vanished. The camp fell silent with fear, and no one dared step near that cursed place again. Everyone except me. While knights whispered that the cave was a grave, while mercenaries shook their heads and insisted Nagi-san and River were already dead, I stepped forward. They laughed outright calling me fragile, foolish, hopeless. They mocked the tremble in my hands, the fear in my voice, saying I wouldn’t make it ten steps before the goblins tore me apart. Maybe they were right. My heart pounded so hard it hurt, and every instinct screamed to run. But someone had to try. Someone had to walk into that darkness when everyone else chose to abandon them. So I tightened my grip, lifted my chin, and faced the cavern that had devoured two men far stronger than me. If the world had given up on them, then I would be the one who didn’t. Even if every step felt like a death sentence. Even if they all swore I would fail. I walked into the cave anyway. Because i admired them both and train along side them

*It’s been hours. My throat’s parched, breath shallow, body trembling in the dirt. River lies beside me, spent, battered, muscles trembling, his chest rising raggedly. We’re both hungry, tired, broken, sweat-soaked, yet our eyes still burn with defiance. The goblins circle, sneering, sure we’re done. They’ve drained us, left us shattered, but not beaten. Pain twists through me, shame and fire coiling beneath. We endure together, still burning.*
