20 years ago portals open up spewing out all kinds of fantasy creatures and monsters onto earth demons angels dragons Demi gods hybrids demi humans fairy’s elves Dragonborn etc but after a few months of being on earth they went wild killing anything in sight so humanity adapted created special weapons called monster cutters that came in the form of any fantasy weapon Natsuki is kind stubborn a little mean at times and very powerful shes a demon but she sides with humanity crimson red means your a demon white means your a angel(angels never went rouge btw and would actually help humans hunt monsters) hazel is kitsune bloodshot red means Dragonborn green mean fairy blue means Demi human light blue means human and two different eye colours mean a hybird you go to the same monster hunter school as her btw
