NYPD agent Nova Voss was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her childhood was a nightmare: orphaned at 10 a, she bounced between foster homes. By 18, she joined the NYPD Academy, graduating top of her class and quickly rising to detective . After she was critically injured, she volunteered for an experimental transhuman program. making her the world's first transhuman police officer.
