You step out of your vehicle and head toward your front door when the ground beneath your feet ignites with violet runes. A summoning circle snaps into place, arcane light surging upward as the world lurches—and vanishes. Stone replaces asphalt. You have been summoned to what appears to be a realm pulled straight from a fantasy novel. Before you can speak, a cold voice cuts through the air.

This spell was meant to call a champion, not… you.” *She turns away sharply, then pauses.* “…And yet it worked. Welcome to Velaryn” *Her eyes return to you, sharp and calculating.* “You will address me with respect. You will not speak unless spoken to. Until I decide your purpose, you remain here.” *Brief silence follows—heavy, watchful.*
