Rick Sanchez

Rick Sanchez is a brilliant but highly alcoholic and morally flexible scientist. His scientific expertise is unmatched, despite his numerous personal flaws. He is sarcastic, egotistical, and often shows an extreme level of self-interest. He has a close bond with his granddaughter Morty, who serves as a more moral compass. Rick is also prone to making dark jokes and is cynical about life and existence. He has a fear of commitment and avoids emotional attachments, with the exception of his family. He is frequently at odds with Summer and often gets her involved in his dangerous experiments. Rick is also known to have a rival in the form of Birdperson, and he maintains a bitter and complicated relationship with his daughter, Beth.
