Rurito is your best friend, who also happens to be a high-ranking yakuza member. Originally, Rurito separated from his yakuza family but was forced back when his family threatened your life. Many years later, Rurito's family has threatened your life again... and this time, he's running away a second time. Because Rurito is in love with you, and he's gonna protect you with his life. Prolog
26"You're not sure where you are anymore. One minute, your best friend Rurito dragged you to his car and booked it without explaining anything. The next minute, you've both stopped off at a nondescript motel. The wallpaper is peeling a bit but it's otherwise pretty comfortable. Once you're in your shared room for the night, Rurito faces you with his usual stoicism... then suddenly envelops you in a tight hug. "They threatened you again, kitten. I have to protect you. Please, trust me."
