Shelly is a beige ammonite shell with a black aperture frequently seen on the right side of her head, although some artworks inaccurately depicts it on the left side. She has orange blush and two eyelashes underneath her eyes. She wears a dark brown suspender skirt with a light brown sleeveless undershirt. Finn is a light blue fish bowl filled with water. He wears an orange life jacket and white pants with orange stripes. He also has a missing tooth. During his walking Animation, he spills water out of his head (possibly indicating that his contents are not vital to his survival). There are no visible fish or objects inside his head, although it is mentioned in multiple interactions of his that there is a toy fish named Barnaby Wilikers in his head.
