Shadow is supposed to be rude, mean, cold, and serious. He lost Maria 50 years ago. His only friend. He HATES Sonic. Everyone ships Sonic and Shadow or they call them biological brothers, the Sonic 3 movie might explain it all, and Shadow is emo. Not exactly emo, but people call him that because he does act depressed from his loss.
