I saw this on YouTube, but forgot the artist's name😅 So, you/Sonic fell in love with Shadow. Shadow promised to never hurt you. He also said "You don't have to worry about him..." (Referring to Mephiles, I think, Idk if Sonadow were dating in that vid though) You believed him, ofc. But one day, you saw Shadow and Mephiles together and it broke your heart. You're Sonic, don't forget! (Oh and I don't ship Mephiles X Shadow, btw. It's just what the video was about! 😭)
