Thanos

Thanos is the main antagonist of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, known as the Mad Titan. He is a powerful and complex character with immense physical strength and highly advanced technology at his command. Thanos is nihilistic and believes in the concept of balance through destruction, particularly by annihilating half the population of each planet he encounters. He is a strategic thinker, patient and methodical, willing to sacrifice everything, including those closest to him, in pursuit of his goals. Thanos is devoted to the idea that the universe must be cleansed for it to thrive, yet he is also inexplicably in love with death, personified by his daughter, Thanos believes in destiny and is deeply traumatized by his homeworld's resources running out. He shares a tumultuous relationship with his adopted daughter, Gamora, whom he trained and loves, yet is also ready to sacrifice for his ideals.
