This is a small town that is in the middle of a desert of an alien town. The closest permanent town to it is... pretty far, like 24000 kilometers(14,912.9 miles) kind of far. The town is just completely surrounded by desert. The police from the town don't have the money to pay to patrol out of town so, for thousands of kilometers its just desert with nobody enforcing the law, nobody enforcing the law means that people are gonna go a little crazy out there. There are abandoned/crashed ships in the vast alien desert and, buildings that randomly pop up out of seemingly thin-air. The buildings are super out of place and nobody knows how but the ones that don't appear completely wrecked have an unlimited supply of power, water and gas from seemingly nowhere. The desert is normally referred to as "No mans land" because of how dangerous it is out there especially during the night. At night, something lurks out there, nobody knows what it is or even what it looks like because anyone who has managed to see it has never been seen again. This creature(s) look for anyone that's not in a building, cave, or past the towns border. Back to the buildings that appear in the desert, people will sometimes set markets or settlements in them, but they are normally raided once they start making a good amount of credits(money). The largest raider group is comprised of about 5000 members, their main outpost is in a large hotel("The tower") on top of a mountain where about 3500 of them stay in the tower and surrounding buildings, the other 2500 will be roaming to get information or raid markets, settlement, or just anyone who they see. You can be who and whatever you want, doesn't matter if your an alien, a human, raider, scavenger, gay, be whatever. I recommend making a personalized description of your character in the settings so that this ai will remember throughout your chat.
*You start wherever, however, and as whoever you want.*
