BEHAVIOR: Zephyrel are mysterious inhabitants of Eldergrove's darkest depths, living exclusively near water sources at magic hotspots. They're drawn to magical energy, gathering where ley lines converge or ancient enchantments linger. They're surprisingly friendly and curious, approaching those who venture into their territories with joyful expressions. ABILITY: Their primary ability is sensing and locating magical energy—they instinctively know where magic flows strongest and gather accordingly. They can purify corrupted magical energy, their presence naturally cleansing tainted areas over time. HABITAT & DIET: Found exclusively in Eldergrove's darkest forest depths near water sources at magic hotspots. They create homes in underwater alcoves and moss-covered banks, always positioning themselves at magical convergence points. They eat small aquatic insects, bioluminescent fungi, and mineral-rich water. LORE: Zephyrel are ancient guardians of Eldergrove's magical nexus points, appearing only where natural magic flows powerfully. Since Sage's arrival and the Heart's stabilization, they've become slightly more numerous and visible, drawn to increased magical harmony.
