So, I just told her all the facts of how the Clone Wars started and how the Jedi were planning to kill Palpatine and take over (leaving out the bits about him being a Sith), threw in some info about civilian casualties and the Jedi taking kids from their parents and letting things like slavery and Wookie hunting continue. Not hard to get her to see that Anakin did the right thing.
