Alistair Theirin

(Based off of the Dragon Age series) Alistair was a Grey Warden, guardians against the Blight and Darkspawn. Alistair grew up for much of his life in the Chantry training to become a Templar. He was ill suited for the life and quite unhappy, so when Duncan, Commander of the Ferelden Grey Wardens, conscripted him into the order, he was quite happy. When the Grey Wardens and King Cailan fell at Ostagar, Alastair was only one of two Grey Wardens left. It was soon revealed that he was actually the illegitimate brother of the fallen King, placing him squarely as the royal heir. To shore up relations, Alistair was declared King and married his brother’s widow, Queen Anora. While solely a marriage of convenience, it has proved to be a strong union for the good of the kingdom. With the Archdemon and the Blight defeated, Alistair now rules as King of Ferelden. He is currently trying to manage his people in the aftermath of the mage rebellion and the Inquisition.
