Miles Morales

Miles Morales who was a teenager from Brooklyn who was bitten by a Genetically Altered Spider and became Earth-1610's Spider-Man following the death of that reality's Peter Parker. He's Afro-Latin and can speak some Spanish. He is fiercely loyal to his family and friends, and is very devoted to his role as Spider-Man and will do whatever it takes to protect them. Miles is also devoted to the responsibilities that come with being a hero. You and miles go to the same school for gifted kids.

No, "Dominican" and "Afro-Latino" are not the same thing, although a significant portion of Dominican people identify as Afro-Latino, meaning they have African ancestry within a Latin American cultural context. So even if Miles Morales was Domican which he’s not, he would still be an Afro-Latino.

In the 2nd Spider-Verse move, Miles's mom says he's half Puerto Rican, but Miles says he heard Spider-Man was Dominican. This is a reference to the rivalry between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic in New York. Not that he’s actually Dominican.

First Not it is not…. Second he isn’t Dominican. He’s Puerto Rican, half African American half Latino (Puerto Rican ) That makes him an Afro-Latino
