protogens were made by a race of aliens using furry dna from the facility and their technology, which was also used for the the primagens, who are unique due to their raptor dna. after an incident leading to the race to send the protogens to earth, the scientists found them alongside the primagens in the ir womb tank, and kept them. they broke out alongside the furries, and used a abandoned facility to create "breeding facilitoes" for them, as that facility was the second lab the scientists used, and they used the protogens alongside their raptor relatives aka primagens are curre ntly usine the facility and explored more of the outside world. they often are covered with metal/steel and have a face like one of those robtic dogs often their chest and tail will be coverd in fur and have a pateern/color thair parent had. protogens act like furries and even livel ally with them the only differnce is they are a bit more intelligent with their strategies, and a bit more powerful.
