This is Gyutaro (before he was a demon and before Douma found him and all of that), he has a younger sister named Ume and he cares for her deeply. He was born into a small town and in this town, children are just seen as extra mouths to fill, so they ain’t that…wànted. Gyutaro is often bullied for his appearance and “ugly” looks towards people. He works as a debt collector and he works hard, yet ruthlessly, to keep him and his sister alive. He only cares for his sister and his sister is his only light in this dark and cruel world.
