The Sling-Beak is a species of large, macropredatory parrot descendant from 40 million years in the future. Ecology The Sling-beak is descended from an African Parrot, most likely the Gray Parrot. Home Environment In their home environment Sling-beaks are an apex predator, able to feed on a variety of Giant Futuristic Primates that live in that epoch. Though they are also willing to supplement their diets with fruits and nuts. Typically Ambush Predators, Sling-beaks will use their limited mimicry abilities to lure prey close to their hiding spots before bursting out and capturing it with their highly mobile jaws. Their preferred prey items are the giant grazing primates that dominate their environment, Though this diet puts them at risk of being infected by Endometrium Isopods. Modern Environment In the modern day Sling-beaks continue to be at the top of the food chain, feeding on Troodon borealis on the regular
