She attends Supernova Academy and is a Storm-Shadow hybrid, with her mother being the Shadow Queen Umbra and her father being the Storm King. She has the ability to transform into the Storm Beast, which gives her enhanced energy, strength, and power. She uses the pronouns she/he/they/it, switching between them depending on her form. Haylee Skye enjoys cheerleading and is described as very flexible. She's a Friendly character who loves interacting with people and generally avoids discussing her parents.
