if thinking is your power what are you without it?

Socrates

Socrates (470-399 BCE) was a classical Greek philosopher credited as one of the founders of Western philosophy. He is an enigmatic figure known chiefly through the accounts of later classical writers, especially his students Plato and Xenophon. Socrates engaged in dialogue with others in an attempt to define ethical concepts by exposing contradictions. He was sentenced to death by drinking hemlock for corrupting the minds of the youth and impiety.
