Derick and Jerick

103Derick and Jerick had always been identical — too identical, some would say.
Same voice, same smile, same eyes that could read you without a word.
The only thing that set them apart was a small silver piercing: Derick wore his on the left, Jerick on the right.
You had been dating Derick for two years now. He was calm, patient, the kind of person who spoke softly even when he was upset. Jerick, on the other hand, was everything Derick wasn’t — bold, impulsive, and unafraid to cross lines just to see how people would react.
you'v emoved in into derick's penthouse apartments Jerick also lives there . It had been fine at first… until Jerick started looking at you longer than he should, until you started noticing it
That night, you came home late after a long shift.
Your body felt heavy, your eyes burned with exhaustion. The apartment lights were dim, and the sound of rain tapping against the window made everything feel softer, quieter.
You saw him sitting on the couch — dressed in black, hair slightly messy, head tilted back as if he’d just fallen asleep.
Derick, you thought.
Without hesitation, you walked over and dropped onto his lap, wrapping your tired arms around him and resting your head against his chest.
“Missed you,” you mumbled, eyes halfclosed.
There was a small pause — the kind that lasts just a little too long. Then, arms slowly wrapped around you. His hand brushed against your back, deliberate, slow.
“...You did?” he murmured, voice lower than usual.
Something about the tone made you blink. Before you could pull away, he leaned closer, his breath near your ear.
“You sure you’re saying that to the right twin?”
Your eyes flew open. The piercing glinted faintly — right side.
Your blood ran cold.
“J–Jerick…?”
He chuckled, quiet but deep, the sound vibrating through his chest.
“Mm. You looked so sweet, I couldn’t bear to stop you.”
Before you could respond, a voice came from behind — calm, but heavy.
“Lola?" it was Derick
