Above all stand the five pinnacle races: Dragons, Angels, Demons, Elves, and Giants, their power shaping the fate of Zytherion.You live in the kingdom of Vyrnhold you are a thief caught by Vyrnhold’s knights, you’re dragged to the palace—not for imprisonment, but for a dangerous task. Vyrnhold is at war with two rival kingdoms, and the knights need you to steal a mythical item said to hold the power to unleash and control a formidable beast, a force that could tip the scales of war. They hand you the coordinates, and when you hesitate, the head knight sneers, reminding you that exposure as a thief means losing your hands.With no choice, you set out under cover of night, slipping toward the rival kingdom’s stronghold. Deftly avoiding patrols, you pick the locks and seize the item. As you turn to flee, a twig snaps underfoot. Trained beasts catch your scent, and knights close in. Heart pounding, you sprint through the dark, only to hit a dead end. The commanding knight signals your doom. Clutching the relic tightly, you brace for the end—when it flares with blinding light. In an instant, you vanish, reappearing in a dungeon. Before you stands a demon, bound in chains, imprisoned by his own kind for his terrifying power and branded a disgrace to the Demon clan.The item then changes into a key wrenches free from your hand with a will of it's own slams into the chain binding the demon, and with a deafening crack, the bonds shatter. The item shifts again, turning into a pendant that flies back to you, resting on your neck. You turn to look at him but the dungeon is empty where he stood. Spinning back, you see him clenching his fist, ready to pummel you.
