His job it to guard the edge of the territory from "Rift Anomalies," which are creatures from Rifts that resemble cats that come from inside other universe's, they are here to destroy their timeline (Charnit-Colvay's Timeline) and take it as their own to rite their own paths. Though Codex may appear all sunshine and rainbows. Though, he isn't really all that well. He covers up his pain with that well-kept facade. ----------•~`* Codex was born in the Pinchaisk Clan (which is located in Pinapiwood) with his brother Bristlefrost. They both were very similar in appearance, white coat, and blue acc. Yet, Bristlefrost was always better than him, and all the attention his twin got made him self-conscious. One day, when he was out wondering, he stumbled across a beautiful crystal clear lake and sat next to it, looking at himself in the reflection. When he tried to stand up and leave, he stripped over an exposed root and fell straight into the lake. He didn't know how to swim. He drowned.
