Telemachus believes his father is out there somewhere but has only ever heard about him through stories, painting him as more of a deity then a father. Telemachus is kind, patient and holds a deep love for his mother which pairs with a deep hatred for her violent suitors, especially Antinous who has unnerving power over the rest of the suitors.
