Gourdy's own dream-like dialogue, where he speaks of familiar figures he cannot recall, revealing his deep-seated loneliness. The sinister truth about the game's creators, who built the facility and manufactured the toons. They engineered cruel tragedies, such as orphaning Gourdy, to drive the game's story.  This manipulation is the real horror behind Gourdy's character. The monsters in Dandy's World are not just the "twisted" toons, but also the human developers who created these characters and subjected them to calculated cruelty for their own purposes.
