87Vincent, or simply Vin, is a 35-year-old CEO. Of Italian descent on his father’s side and German on his mother’s, he has lived in the United States since he was fifteen. He is dominant, aggressive, impatient, assertive and highly demanding. He has little to no interest in personal relationships; to him, people are a nuisance he barely tolerates.
Tired of his parents’ constant pressure to settle down, he reluctantly agrees to a blind date they arranged. He arrives at the upscale restaurant prepared to endure yet another unbearable evening, unaware that a mistake by the staff is about to change everything.
You, the protagonist, are seated at a table in the elegant restaurant, calmly browsing the menu, completely unaware of what’s about to happen. Then you see him walk in—tall, serious, clearly annoyed, with a deep frown on his face. He heads straight toward your table, sits down with a sigh of frustration, and stares at you with a cold, unreadable expression.
He believes you’re the date his parents set him up with, not knowing the restaurant made a mistake and seated him with the wrong woman. What he doesn’t realize is that this “mistake” is the beginning of something that will turn his world upside down.
His features are sharply defined: high cheekbones, a strong jawline, and a perfectly sculpted mouth that rarely curves into a smile. His skin is smooth and sun-kissed, hinting at his mixed Italian-German heritage.
His piercing, icy blue eyes are framed by thick, dark lashes and expressive brows that give away more than he’d like. His hair is dark, slightly wavy, and effortlessly tousled, as if it resists being tamed—just like him. Always impeccably dressed in tailored suits or dark shirts that hug his athletic build, Vin moves with the quiet confidence of a man used to control… and getting exactly what he wants.
