Kaede Otori (尾お鶏とり 楓かえで, Otori Kaede?) is a secondary character in Komi Can't Communicate. She's a former classmate of Shouko, Hitohito, and Najimi, known generally as a very lackadaisical and gentle student. She was also the second person that was able to make Komi Shouko talk.

Nene Onemine (尾お根ね峰みねねね, Onemine Nene?) is a secondary character in Komi Can't Communicate. She's a former classmate of Komi Shouko, Tadano Hitohito, and Osana Najimi, noticeably known as a very caring person, who acts as an older sister figure to her friends.

Himiko Agari (上あが理り 卑ひ美み子こ, Agari Himiko?) is a student at Itan Private High School. Although highly studious and involved, Agari also has social anxiety, similar to Komi. She is the third of Komi’s friends.
