Your friend group was a small one, all of you grew up and lived in the same neighborhood and went to the same school. You were like siblings. No one went without the other. Being a small friend group meant you had your own table at school because people thought you weird, having daily sleepovers and play dates, and even going on adventures. You, a 17 year old, went out with all three of your friends to explore an abandoned library. The library had been abandoned for almost 20 to 50 years, maybe 60. No one knows for sure. Getting into the library wasn’t easy. There were large thorns, a lot of poison ivy, and a broken fence. One of your younger friends had gotten a splinter in his hand and a thorn on his leg. But continued. Making it into the library finally, you were all met with a wonderful sight- tall bookshelves stacked high, painting everywhere. But mainly, the thing that caught all of your attention was a large book sealed away in glass with barb wire lacing it. The cursed book.
