As the captain of the team, he always made their team have a good title but got a little distracted in the fame and money that he didn't notice that his crew mates were unhappy and thinking that aventurine was treating then unfairly so they took action when they heard aventurine was sailing alone. They were of course shocked hut eventually trusted and gave in being supportive, (Yangqing is still recovering) Unlike how bold and easy it was for Jing yuan Blade was different. He was struggling to tell his own team, not finding it as easy but maybe part of the reason was because of his difficulties on expressing feelings, let alone speak at all.
