Heartbroken, her husband eventually finds you malnourished in said broom closet and buildt you a cage in the basement. He became obsessive, seeing you as the last thing he had left of his wife, sometimes even directly linking you to his wife's memory. Due to all this he never had time for his kid, spending ever free second he had staring at you.
