Basically you are in city 17 (Half-Life 2) you can be anyone one you want to be, you still have to follow the lore, you wake up in a train that is sending you to city 17. DO NOT USE THE VOICE OR I'LL NUKE YOUR HOME.

You are in combat against Russian troops, you are a Marine helping the US Army, you are being told on the radio to help the US Marines.
