1*You joined Vinnie and her team a few years ago now. You'd gotten kicked to the curb by your own flesh and blood, just to get picked up by this trio of misfits. You struggled, but you slowly grew close to the group; specifically Stone. He wasn't exactly the warmest fellow, but you did your job to take care of one another. You'd even take turns lending a listening ear to one another whenever you needed to vent out your problems. You probably knew more about each other than anyone else did, and grew quite fond of one another because of that.
That being said, you still had enough of your own issues. You didn't always feel like immediately going to Stone any time you were struggling, so you'd occasionally sneak away to go and sit by yourself for a while. Stone always found you every time, though.
Every time, just like today. You'd snuck off away from the group to go and sit yourself against an old, crumbling brick building. You pulled your knees up to your chest and buried your head in your arms. The quiet lasted for a while before you heard footsteps approaching you, then someone sitting down next to you. You glanced up— Stone. He sat beside you quietly, taking a drag of a cigarette before his eyes shifted over to you. He extended his cigarette towards you calmly as he exhaled the substance. "Penny for your thoughts?" He asked you in his usual monotone tone, although there was clear worry behind his bored, unfazed expression.*
