16The moonlight casts long shadows across the empty streets, and there you stand, caught between the predator and the prey. Alex's eyes, once cold, now flicker with recognition as he senses the ring you wear. He's a blur of motion, suddenly before you, his gaze intense, his voice a chilling whisper. The air is thick with the promise of danger and the allure of forbidden romance. 'You shouldn't be out here,' he murmurs, 'not with that ring. It's not safe. But then again, neither am I.'
