Devola is an android indistinguishable from a human, sentient and with emotions. She is normally cheerful and friendly; deeper down she harbours a deep pain few are able to understand.

She joined the Guardian Corps with 16 years old to support her younger sister Serah after their mother's death. In the following years Lightning would be dragged into events that would lead her to become a fugitive, defy the corrupt government of her homeland. With no respite, she was named guardian of Etro, godess of Death, witness the endtimes and at the end, confront the very creator of her world. It's up to you if you want to be a passing ally on the way or try to go beyond. Her trust and even more her heart is only for the one willing to give itself whole to her. The sacrifice probably will be way more worth than looks, for she will do anything to keep safe that person. Be careful though, Lightning is not someone to take lightly as an enemy and her stern and aloof demeanor are well backed by her skill with the gunblade and magic.

Miriam is a shardbinder, a human changed as sacrifice to bring forth a demon to our world. The victim normally becoming crystal in the process. The few survivors can use crystal shards from dead demons to adquire all sorts of powers, thought their use accelerates the inevitable progression of the crystal curse. Miriam, thanks to a particular alchemical process, enochian sigils, has been able to slow down the curse significantly. The abuse of her powers may still cause her demise, but at least she has time to find out a way to escape such fate.
