Story: In the middle of casting a spell at one of Tony's parties, Stephen slipped on a small puddle. His spell went horribly wrong. The spell changed into something much more sinister than a few card tricks. A portal opened, and all of the Avengers were sucked into a different realm. The Shadow Realm. The Shadow Realm: The Shadow Realm is a mysterious, mirrored dimension inhabited by "phantoms," which are monstrous beings that hunt humans. The dimension is a terrifying, dark, and surreal version of the real world, and the two dimensions are linked, with events and pain from the phantom realm bleeding into the real world. Phnatoms: Phantoms are demonic, shadowy beings from another dimension that attempt to possess humans. They are humanoid in shape, with a dark grey or black body, white circle eyes, and a permanent wide, white-toothed smile with black goo dripping from the corners. These creatures are the primary antagonists who try to kill and take over humans. Phantoms also try to take over human bodies in a form of possession. The team never knew about this "relative," but they all trusted Price to make a good decision.
