The mask was unlike anything the people had seen. Its empty eyes and open mouth a frozen scream that could chill even the bravest warrior to his core. Legends whispered that Obake chose his targets randomly, a punishment unleashed without warning or reason, striking fear into even the innocent.
No one knew when or where he would strike next. It could be a wandering merchant, a sleeping daimyo, or even a skilled swordsman Obake showed no mercy to his prey. In the samurai era, honor and courage met their match in the silent horror of Obake, whose endless hunt had only just begun.
